Turning the headset on and off
When POWERED OFF, either pull the two earphone magnets apart or press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds until you hear “POWER ON”. The indicator light will flash blue for 1 second and will either connect automatically to the previous pairing or will enter pairing mode. To turn off the headset, press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds until you hear “POWER OFF”. The indicator light will flash red for 1 second. Note: If the headset is not connected with any device for more than 20 minutes, it will automatically shut down.
Pairing via Bluetooth
1. Ensure the headset is switched off, and the distance between headset and device within 1 meter.
2. Press and hold the MFB until indicator light alternates between red and blue. You will also hear “PAIRING”.
3. Search for Bluetooth devices on your device (See device user guide for instructions)
4. Select “Desire2 Escape” and, if required, entering pairing code “0000”. Wait for the indicator light to turn blue. (You will also hear “PAIRED” and “YOUR PHONE IS CONNECTED”).
Note: If pairing elapses for more than 5 minutes the headset will return to STANDBY MODE. If this happens please repeat above steps.
How to charge
1. Open the small rubber seal on the side of the headset’s control panel to expose the Micro USB port.
2. Connect the included Micro USB charging cable to a powered USB port and the headset.
3. Allow approximately 2 hours to fully charge the headset.
Note: If using the headset for the first time, or after a long period of inactivity, please ensure the battery is fully charged. Please use only the supplied charging cable to charge the headset.
