Product manual
1. Insert Micro SD memory card
This camera is not equipped with an internal memory card. Please prepare a Micro SD card which speed class rating is equal or higher than Class 4. The maximum memory that can be supported by this camera is 64GB. Find the Micro SD card slot at the side of camera, then insert the card in correct direction. You will hear a “click” sound if the memory card has been inserted into the camera successfully.
2. Turn the camera on
Press and hold the POWER/SHUTTER/OK button to turn the camera on (Also turns the camera off).
3. Set the camera mode
The camera has 4 different modes: VIDEO MODE, PHOTO MODE, SLOW MOTION MODE, and PLAYBACK MODE. Repeatedly press the MODE button to toggle through the different modes.
4. Capturing video
Repeatedly press the MODE BUTTON and select VIDEO MODE. Press the POWER/SHUTTER/OK button to begin recording. You can use the LCD screen to view your subject and time duration. Once you have finished recording, simply press the POWER/SHUTTER/OK button again. To record video in slow motion, repeatedly press the MODE BUTTON and select SLOW MOTION MODE. Press the POWER/SHUTTER/OK button to begin recording. Adjust MICROPHONE SEAL for audio.
5. Taking photos
Repeatedly press the MODE BUTTON and select PHOTO MODE. Press the POWER/SHUTTER/OK button to take a photo.
6. Review footage/photos
Repeatedly press the MODE BUTTON and select PLAYBACK MODE. Press the WIFI BUTTON to toggle through the footage/photos. To play back footage, simply press the POWER/SHUTTER/OK button. Press the POWER/SHUTTER/OK button anytime during playback to pause the video, and again to resume. To leave the video, simply press the MODE button.
7. Deleting footage
When in PLAYBACK MODE, pressing and holding the MODE BUTTON will pop up a DELETE prompt. Use the WIFI BUTTON to toggle between CANCEL and CONFIRM as required, and press the POWER/SHUTTER/OK button to execute.
8. Connecting the camera to a PC/laptop
You can either use a card reader or the supplied USB cable to connect to a PC/laptop. If using a card reader, simply insert the memory card and insert the card reader into your PC/laptop. A new removable device will appear in your device OS list. Locate and access the storage to browse or copy all of the content stored on the memory card. If you are connecting via the supplied USB cable, first connect the cable to your PC/laptop and power the camera on. The LCD screen will prompt you to select either USB MODE, PC CAMERA, or CHARGING MODE. Use the WIFI BUTTON to toggle between options and select USB MODE and press the POWER/SHUTTER/OK button to confirm. A new removable device will appear in your device OS list. Locate and access the storage to browse or copy all of the content stored on the memory card.
9. Using the Wi-Fi function
Download the “SportCAM” App from Google Play or App Store onto your device. Press the WIFI BUTTON on the side of the camera and wait 5 seconds. You will see the WIFI account and password appear on the LCD screen. Turn on WIFI on your device and search for the camera’s account number. When prompted, enter the password. Once connected, open the SportCAM app on your device.
